Strategic Finance Leader

 

As a Strategic Finance Leader, you will play a vital role in driving our financial strategy and operational excellence in Romania. This position requires a broad strategic and analytical expert who can provide critical insights, set objectives, and support transformative initiatives to ensure a sustainable and successful business.

 

You will act as a strategic thinker with excellent business acumen, leveraging your deep understanding of financials to guide decision-making and support tactical initiatives across the affiliate. As a member of the broader finance community, you will be a trusted partner to the business, helping to shape our long-term direction and deliver outstanding value to patients.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate closely with business teams to shape long-term strategy, model business scenarios, and provide data-supported insights that drive sound financial decisions.

  • Lead the affiliate's financial forecasting (Sales & OPEX), guide strategic resource allocation decisions, and champion the continuous improvement of our agile planning framework.

  • Monitor and provide transparency on financial performance, track key metrics, identify deviations from targets, and propose corrective actions to ensure business objectives are met.

  • Play a key role in developing coherent commercial strategies, co-creating pricing strategies, and evaluating new business opportunities to generate sustainable revenue.

  • Identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency gains, drive continuous process improvements, and contribute to the automation and digitalization of finance processes.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (locally and in our region), balancing the roles of trusted advisor and guardian to reveal opportunities, manage risk, and optimize resource allocation.

 

Requirements

 

  • Hold an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics. A postgraduate degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or MBA is considered a plus. A professional qualification such as CPA, CFA, CA, ACCA, or CIMA is also considered a plus.

  • Build 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Controlling, or similar strategic finance role, with deep understanding of Corporate Finance, Financial Modelling, and data analysis.

  • Demonstrate strategic agility, and be able to build business acumen quickly.

  • Bring excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating complex data into actionable insights.

  • Develop an experimental and agile mindset, focused on the customer and continuous improvement.

  • Develop advanced influencing, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Be fluent in both Romanian and English (written and spoken).
