Cloud Backup Specialist

Location: Remote (EU + Serbia)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Duration: 6 months (extension possible)

Role Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Backup Specialist to support our clients CyberVault backup and recovery environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with native backup solutions in AWS or Azure, strong scripting skills, and the ability to collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams in a fully remote setting. Prior experience with Rubrik, Dell Networker, CyberSense, or NetApp is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CyberVault-related backups in both Azure and AWS environments

• Work with client teams to investigate and resolve backup failures, ensuring SLA compliance

• Conduct monthly recovery tests from CyberVault backups within isolated environments

• Contribute to broader CyberVault recovery testing efforts, including on-premise solutions

• Provide regular performance reports and management information on backup efficiency

• Support infrastructure automation and testing using Terraform and Python

• Collaborate using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience with native backup solutions in AWS or Azure (mandatory)

• Familiarity with cloud-native backup tools and architectures

• Proficient in scripting with Python and using infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform

• Comfortable working in Agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and GitHub

• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience conducting backup/recovery tests

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Rubrik or Dell Networker backup solutions

• Familiarity with CyberSense or Dell CRM

• Background in NetApp storage solutions
