Job Description:

As a Development Team Lead, you will oversee the efficient development of high-quality applications in Ruby on Rails. Your leadership will drive innovation and reliability in software development, ensuring that bug fixing, testing, and continuous improvements keep the technology stack resilient and scalable.

You will lead a skilled team of developers, guiding them in best practices, code optimization, and scalable architecture. You will also ensure timely delivery and high-quality performance throughout all stages of the software development lifecycle.

In this role, you will manage relationships with third-party vendors, development tools, and services that support the team's development efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing development teams
  • Expertise/strong focus in Ruby on Rails development, including architecture design, code optimization, and application scalability
  • Experience managing the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, deployment, releasing, and bug fixing
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure management, cloud solutions, and scalable architecture
  • Ability to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues, ensuring smooth system performance
  • Ability to develop and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning
