Project Manager for Data Operations

This role involves coordinating data labeling activities, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery across multiple streams. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large-scale data labeling or data operations projects with multiple stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing efficient labeling strategies aligned with project goals and the latest advancements in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

  • You will serve as a central point of contact between stakeholders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, translating requirements into actionable plans and contracts.
  • You will manage and monitor project timelines, milestone tracking, and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • You will continuously oversee data quality and drive improvements in accuracy and consistency of labeled data.
  • You will evaluate and optimize labeling tools and workflows in close collaboration with development teams.
  • You will maintain clear, organized documentation using Confluence and Jira, regularly updating progress, processes, and supplier interactions.
  • You will respond to supplier inquiries, clarify requirements, and ensure invoicing accuracy and timely approvals.
  • You will lead regular check-ins, collaborative planning sessions, and stakeholder updates, ensuring transparency and alignment at all times.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, ideally within a data operations, AI/ML, or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong track record of managing large-scale data labeling or data operations projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with labeling platforms and managing external vendor relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to track project metrics, monitor performance, and support data-driven quality improvements.
  • Proficiency with project management and documentation tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with fluency in English.
