Chief Technical Strategist

The role of a Solution Architect is to design and lead the development of key templates and components within a cutting-edge automation platform. This involves working alongside industry experts, professional services, and engineering teams to create solutions that leverage the full potential of the platform.

To succeed in this position, you will need to provide technical leadership, customer implementation guidance, drive best engineering practices, and contribute to strategic planning for product development. A unique blend of hands-on technical expertise, customer-centricity motions, communication with multiple stakeholders, and roadmap planning are essential for driving the automation platform forward.

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of stable, reusable solutions, particularly focusing on AI-driven components of the platform.
• Develop workflows and custom activities using VB.Net/C#.
• Verify and leverage appropriate platform components, providing internal feedback on products and implementation necessities.
• Incubate new ideas, stay abreast of emerging technologies, particularly in AI/GenAI, and drive their adoption where relevant to the product roadmap via creation of stable, reusable solutions.
• Create specialized agents with the best prompting, tools, and Humans-in-the-loop via end-to-end orchestration.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, researchers, and other stakeholders to define, refine, and execute the technical product roadmap.
• Provide solution designs and implementation guidance to customers throughout the development of new deals and proof of concept ideas.
• Drive the technical strategy and evolution of system architecture, analyzing complex issues, proposing solutions, and ensuring alignment with business and technical needs.
• Mentor and grow engineers across teams, fostering technical excellence, conducting design reviews, sharing knowledge, and helping them advance in their careers.

• Graduate/postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related technical field, OR equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in developing and implementing automation workflows in UiPath.
• Knowledge of the entire UiPath Platform, including UiPath Orchestrator, Document Understanding, Action Apps, Test Suite, and Insights.
• Understanding of workflow-based logic, such as Robotic Enterprise Framework, Document Understanding Framework, and Orchestration Processes.
• Demonstrable experience in shipping UiPath solutions leveraging AI technologies, with expertise in Large Language Models (LLM), Prompt Engineering, Context Grounding, and Machine Learning Models deployed in UiPath AI Center.
• UiPath Certified Professional Program preferred, with certifications in Automation Solution Architect Professional, Automation Developer Professional, and Specialized AI Professional.
• Expertise in programming languages such as Python, TypeScript, and C#, backed by solid object-oriented programming principles and computer science fundamentals.
• Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and solution design for building highly scalable, reliable, and fast-performing solutions.
• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and best practices for producing high-quality output from GenAI models.
• Proven ability to provide technical leadership, drive technical strategy for platform components, mentor engineers, and foster best practices.
• Ability to work effectively within globally distributed teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and architecture clearly to diverse audiences.

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and AI-driven features.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Previous experience working with Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Pega, or Nice.
• Previous experience working with Camunda, Microsoft Copilot, CrewAI, Salesforce AgentForce, LangChain, or ServiceNow AI Agents.
• Understanding of UiPath Infrastructure requirements.
