Lead Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly analytical and tech-savvy Lead Financial Analyst to join our Global Business Services finance team. The primary responsibilities include supporting the development and achievement of the organization's goals by delivering accurate, insightful, and timely financial analysis and business partnering.

The ideal candidate will have advanced proficiency in MS Office tools, experience with ERP systems (Oracle and IBM Cognos preferred), and exposure to Power BI type reporting and dashboard tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making.
  • Support the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Perform quarterly forecasting and monthly cost variance analysis.
  • Perform the month-end close process for GBS cost centres.
  • Analyse financial statement data and identify performance trends or anomalies.
  • Develop and track business cases for new strategic initiatives or investments.
  • Communicate monthly results vs. targets to finance leadership and business partners.
  • Provide functional support, mentorship, or training to junior analysts where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within a GBS, SSC, or multinational environment.
  • Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query, data modelling, dashboard design).
  • High proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint for presentation of financial results and recommendations.
