Job Title: Compliance Certification Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and contributing to the development of our products. This role involves assisting in the definition and conservation of Renault's positions with official authorities, documenting and validating tools, and identifying affected metiers and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in defining and conserving Renault's positions with official authorities;
  • Document and validate GET-RC tools;
  • Identify metiers affected and regulatory requirements associated with your domain;
  • Ensure integration and usage of these requirements in design standards (including user manuals);
  • Define expected evidence to ensure regulatory compliance and standardize these processes;
  • Officialize regulatory risks in pre-project phases;
  • Contribute to verification of compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Create technical documents for certification and/or self-certification of vehicles, ensuring convergence and quality of items provided by PFE;
  • Contribute to maintenance of regulatory compliance in mass production;
  • Participate in design audits and manufacturing audits based on requirements;
  • Contribute to performance of the engineering department by actively participating in Metier RRSHs' meetings to improve their department's performance.

Collaborations:

This specialist will work closely with the following stakeholders:

  • PF and vehicle sectors retaining parts impacting emissions and performance; exhaust, air intake, engine misfire, engine injection, battery management system, etc.
  • The Homologation Regulation sector.
  • The PWT supplier HORSE.
  • Emissions and Performance experts and Technical Leaders at Ampère & Renault.

Scope of Action:

  • Geographic scope: All ICE and Hybrid PWTs worldwide.
  • Technical scope: Onboard diagnostic.
  • Time scope: Development and serial life.

Deliverables and Associated Processes:

  • Standard plans.
  • Process updates.
  • Validation of plans from a regulatory perspective.
  • Cascading of OBD requirement within projects.
