Financial Advisor

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Accounting Advisory professional to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in providing expert advice on financial and accounting matters to clients in the banking and insurance sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide complex accounting advice to clients, identifying areas of improvement and implementing effective solutions.

• Support banks and insurance companies in adopting new accounting standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

• Develop and deliver workshops and training sessions for clients, enhancing their knowledge and skills in financial reporting.

• Prepare high-quality IFRS financial statements, meeting strict regulatory requirements.

• Assist with deals and post-mergers accounting support, providing valuable insights and expertise.

• Report on specific requirements from regulators, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

• Improve reporting processes, streamlining procedures and reducing costs.

• Offer financial reporting advice, including FINREP services.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with ACCA qualification.

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in financial audit or banking/insurance sector.

• Strong accounting knowledge, particularly in IFRS (IFRS 9, IFRS 16).

• Eager to learn and adapt to new topics and technologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly adaptable and open to change.
