Game Technical Artist

We are looking for a skilled Game Technical Artist to join our team. As a key member of our development group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing art pipelines, creating tools, and solving complex technical challenges.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented artist to work on AAA game titles and collaborate with industry leaders. You will have the chance to develop your skills, learn from experienced colleagues, and contribute to the creation of high-quality games.

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Technical Artist or similar role in game development
  • Proven experience working on at least one shipped AAA or high-quality AA title (console, PC, or mobile)
  • Familiarity with art pipelines for characters, environments, and props, and ability to optimize workflows
  • Strong proficiency with scripting and programming languages such as C++ and C#
  • Experience creating tools and shaders to streamline art production and enhance visuals
  • Expertise in working with Unreal Engine and other game engines such as Unity
  • Solid knowledge of 3D modeling software (Maya, Blender, 3ds Max) and texturing tools (Substance Painter/Designer)
  • Experience with rigging, skinning, and animation pipelines is a strong plus
  • Understanding of performance optimization for real-time graphics on consoles and mobile platforms
  • Good eye for artistic quality, lighting, shading, and visual effects
  • Ability to collaborate closely with artists to balance technical feasibility with creative vision
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise between artists, engineers, and producers
