About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Business Analyst
to support the development and optimization of digital solutions for a leading company specializing in
elevator and vertical transportation consulting services
. The company provides expert guidance on elevator design, modernization, maintenance, and safety across various industries, including commercial real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and transportation hubs.

In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping a
platform that digitizes and streamlines vertical transportation assessments, project management, and performance analysis
. The platform aggregates and processes data from inspections, audits, and service reports to help property owners, facility managers, and building engineers make data-driven decisions for efficient and safe elevator operations.

As a
Business Analyst
, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders from technical, business, and industry teams. Your key responsibilities will include gathering and analyzing business requirements, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the platform delivers exceptional value through actionable insights and efficient processes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document business needs, user stories, and workflows related to elevator inspections, audits, and maintenance management.
  • Evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improved user experience.
  • Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), and process diagrams.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of an Agile development environment.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of requirements.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), feature prioritization, and feedback collection to ensure the final solution meets business goals.
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to ensure accurate reporting and actionable insights for clients.
  • Recommend enhancements to business processes and platform features based on user feedback and industry trends.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects, ideally within enterprise level companies.
  • Proficiency in gathering and documenting business requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Experience with business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Strong skills in creating BRDs, FSDs, and user guides.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience working with platforms related to
    engineering consulting, construction, or property management
    .
  • Familiarity with
    vertical transportation systems
    , including elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.âExperience with
    API integrations and data flow documentation
    .
  • UI/UX Experience.
