Noventiz, part of Reconomy, is strengthening its Accounting team in Cologne and we're looking for a Senior Financial Accountant With German to join us.

You'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency—working closely with international colleagues and supporting seamless financial operations.

What You'll Do

Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoice processing and payment runs

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in daily financial transactions

Maintain accurate and complete financial records and documentation

Support cash flow management, forecasting, and budgeting activities

Process general ledger entries, accruals, and provisions

Assist in monthly and annual financial closing

Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders

• Identify and drive improvements to financial processes

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting
• Solid understanding of HGB (IFRS is a plus)
• Experience with Datev and ERP systems
• Confident use of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
• Good knowledge of German tax rules
• Strong communication skills in German & English
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindset

Nice to have:

• Certified Accountant qualification or degree in Finance/Accounting
• Experience in intercompany reconciliations and group reporting
• Prior exposure to audits and international environments
