Site Reliability Engineer

A highly collaborative and detail-oriented Site Reliability Engineer who thrives in a team-driven environment and communicates effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure in AWS using Terraform.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of services using SRE best practices (SLAs, SLOs, error budgets)
• Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Assist in security hardening and compliance initiatives (IAM policies, network access control, secrets management).
• Champion DevOps and SRE culture across engineering teams, promoting automation, observability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Proven expertise in AWS (EC2, S3, EKS, IAM, Glue, Lambda, etc).
• Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash or Python).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and networking fundamentals.
• Resourceful self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities in a startup.
• Highly organised, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Excellent communication and listening skills — verbal, written.

• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures (e.g., Lambda, Step Functions).
• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployments.
• Background in incident management and observability tooling.
• Ansible experience.
