Your mission

  • Oversee the deployment and management of applications in air-gapped environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and maintain standard IT security practices, including identity and access management, data protection, encryption, and certificate/key management.
  • Work effectively in complex environments, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Foster a DevOps mentality within the team, promoting collaboration, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub to enhance project management and communication.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables, facilitating smooth workflows and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of DevOps practices.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, architectures, and configurations to support team knowledge and compliance requirements.

Required superpowers

  • 5+ years AWS or Azure cloud infrastructures experience
  • 3+ years experience with Kubernetes ideal OKD/Openshift
  • Hands on Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD
  • Experience with frameworks like Crossplane, Terraform, Ansible playbooks for building custom APIs and infrastructure as code
  • Strong scripting skills, ideally Python, Bash
  • Development background, with hands on experience of at least one programming language (e.g. go, java, python,…)
  • Knowledge of systems monitoring, alerting, and analytics at the container level for APM tools, including Grafana, Prometheus
  • Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud infrastructures, preferred both
