Overview:

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will support the NNDAP L1 Migration and Data Lab standardization to establish a strong Lakehouse foundation.
Youll work on Databricks-based ingestion, quality, and sharing modules, ensuring tenant automation, lineage enforcement, and compliance with governance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data ingestion and quality pipelines within Databricks Lakehouse.

  • Build and automate tenant configuration workflows to support multi-tenant data sharing.

  • Implement data lineage tracking and access control policies for compliance and security.

  • Collaborate on platform standardization and migration activities.

  • Use Azure Data Factory (ADF), Delta Live Tables, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to ensure reproducibility and scalability.

  • Support observability, data validation, and operational reliability of pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Platform Engineering.

  • Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Delta Live Tables, and ADF.

  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).

  • Understanding of Lakehouse architectures, data governance, and lineage tools.

  • Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations.

  • Proficiency in Git, agile collaboration, and versioned deployments.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Unity Catalog, Purview, or similar governance frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Databricks REST APIs or workspace automation.
