Get to Know the Team
We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The role is on-site and you will report to the Head of Engineering based in Cluj.

As an SRE, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our large-scale distributed systems, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and performance.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Build scalable and reliable infrastructure using cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code tools
• Develop, monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure high availability and performance of our services
• Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
• Conduct capacity planning and performance optimization to ensure system scalability
• Implement and maintain security best practices across our infrastructure
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and libraries to improve operational efficiency
• Participate in post-incident reviews and implement measures to prevent future occurrences
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry best practices in site reliability engineering

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 1+ years of experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge in containerization technologies, particularly Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiar with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration and networking protocols
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Detail-oriented approach
• Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing them in production environments
• Relevant certifications is a plus (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer)
