Job Description

Join our double digits growth Information Business at Coface We are looking for an API Product Owner (PO) for our Business Information activity. As PO, you are responsible for defining the needs, priorities, expected benefits, and the roadmap for the realization or evolution of our APIs.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collect and synthesize the needs of the Business: Gather and define business needs to align with project and strategy.
  • Define the business requirements of the project or evolutions, and the target functionality for user experience: Ensure the solution aligns with business processes and rules.
  • Create and validate roadmaps, schedules, releases, and any changes: Responsible for creating, defining, and delivering the roadmap.
  • Ensure that the roadmap follows the budget: Contribute to the annual budget definition of the application.
  • Define the success criteria for project or product deliveries (tests) and validates the production and opening of the service to users: Involved in testing and validation during releases.
  • Responsible for mobilizing and involving business resources necessary for the evolutions and implementation of the application: Ensure data quality and user tests.
  • Responsible for the adoption and success of the application with users: Manage communication to users and gather their feedback.
  • Define the need for change management, possibly with the support of a change manager: Ensure communication with end users.
  • Agile ceremony: Refining, planning with development teams.
Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Expertise on the API international business perimeter ( knows or understands)
  • Used to working in Agile mode (Scrum) – able to work in sprints
  • Ability to define and present clear requirements for developers
  • Proficiency with JIRA – task management tool.
  • Experience as a Product Manager or in IT environment and/or in the financial sector is a plus
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is highly appreciated
  • Experience in designing/programming APIs
  • Project experience
  • English proficiency, written and oral
  • Understanding of APIs, able to explain their use and functionality

Level of Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of minimum experience strictly as a Product Owner.
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.
