ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for a Backend Developer, proficient with , to join a team that builds and maintains a robust and fast, cloud-based platform in the FinTech space using the latest technologies.

In this role, you'll help shape backend services that ensure real-time communication, data consistency, and seamless integrations - focusing on performance, reliability, and clean architecture.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, build, test, and maintain cloud-native backend services, primarily in serverless architecture on AWS;
  • Develop robust and scalable APIs using , integrating with both SQL databases and third-party services;
  • Implement and manage real-time features using WebSockets;
  • Maintain high standards around performance, observability, security, and fault tolerance;
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful product features;
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to strategic technical decisions;
  • Apply best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and software delivery.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience);
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in backend development;
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, etc.);
    • in a production environment;
    • Serverless architecture & frameworks;
    • SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL);
    • WebSockets for real-time features.
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and distributed systems;
  • Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with DevOps practices;
  • A problem-solving mindset and a drive for continuous improvement;
  • Professional English level, strong verbal and written communication skills.
