We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Salesforce Developer to support the development, customization, and ongoing optimization of a digital platform built for a leading company specializing in elevator and vertical transportation consulting services. The company provides expert guidance on elevator design, modernization, maintenance, and safety across industries including commercial real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and transportation hubs.

As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the platform is stable, secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. You will take ownership of user management, security settings, automations, and data integrity, while also contributing to improvements through declarative tools and technical collaboration involving Apex or other advanced configuration methods.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage and configure the Salesforce platform including custom objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and flows;
  • Support platform scalability through robust role hierarchy, permission sets, sharing rules, and data visibility controls;
  • Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into platform enhancements;
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into key metrics;
  • Oversee data imports, exports, and updates and ensure high-quality data hygiene;
  • Administer user accounts, profiles, licenses, and permission sets; resolve access and performance issues;
  • Collaborate with developers and consultants on more complex automation or Apex-based solutions;
  • Participate in testing, release planning, and change management activities for Salesforce deployments;
  • Stay informed about Salesforce releases and propose relevant feature adoption or improvements.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer, preferably in a mid-to-large organization;
  • Excellent understanding of user and data security, including profiles, roles, and sharing rules;
  • Proficiency in creating custom reports and dashboards that support business insights;
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and third-party applications;
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence;
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with Apex triggers, classes, and test methods;
  • Experience working with REST or SOAP APIs;
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Admin, or other certifications are a plus;
  • Experience with declarative tools like Flows, Process Builder, and validation rules;
  • Knowledge of elevator systems or vertical transportation industry terminology.
