Senior Backend Developer (Big Data Systems)

Pro iDeal Jobs is looking for a Senior Backend Developer (Big Data Systems), on behalf of our client, a Romanian software development company, with many years of experience in the IT field, with a team of passionate IT people who understand and appreciate the importance of both technology and business in achieving success.

About the project:
  • Design cutting-edge distributed architectures and development for large-scale cloud-based systems;
  • Think creatively about new technologies, providing new solutions to old problems or identifying new problems/opportunities;
  • Help create and/or utilize large-scale infrastructure across multiple regions and data centers;
  • Effectively collaborate with teams locally as well as remotely at each stage of the development process;
​​​​​​​You shall bring:
  • Good knowledge of several programming languages;
  • Experienced in software development under Linux;
  • Being proficient in distributed version control systems;
  • Passion for software engineering and writing clean code;
  • Enjoy solving complex problems by paying attention to details;
  • English B2+.
