We are looking for a skilled and experienced SAP FI consultant colleague to join our team, being involved in local or international projects, collaborating with diverse teams.

What you'll be doing

• Design & deliver technical/functional solutions against specifications and blueprints in accordance with agreed standards and procedures
• Design processes and planning, will offer support for the documentation and the implementation of the new functionalities – improvements on the existing for creating new flows, implementing new projects at local or regional level
• Complete unit and integration testing of developments in line with agreed processes ensuring completion within allocated timescales
• Communicate internally with business users and externally with other entities
• Collaborate with all teams within IT department, local business and regional teams to solve the issues and to reduce their impact, to detect all the dependencies for the new requirements and to anticipate all flows involved, to plan correctly the process and to unlock the blockages
• Complete detailed solution documentation for functional solutions
• Provide technical expertise in systems applications within a nominated function
• Provide solutions for different issues on the financial flows, and for the maintenance of the data transfer in SAP through various applications
• Involved in staff training
• Continuously improve our implementation methodology
• Focused on delivering multiple projects at the same time
• Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required
• Maintain a high level of functionality for the financial processes in the company

What you'll bring along

• Subject Matter Expert for SAP FI Module
• Minimum of 3-7 years experience in SAP FI functional Development and Support
• SAP implementation experience for specific FI module, full project lifecycle
• Solid experience of systems development and project management methodologies
• In deep understanding of the processes in SAP ECC Financial modules: SAP GL, AP, AR, AA, Banks, CO
• In-depth knowledge of SAP FI module functionalities, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules
• Experience with design, implementation and testing processes. Working on these areas to define business processes, solving the gaps, improving the flows, transforming the business requirements into system specifications to meet current and future requirements
• Solid understanding and experience of integrating SAP GL modules with other modules like MM, SD, PM and FICO sub-modules
• Good knowledge of RO specific legislation (SAF-T, e-factura, etc.)
• Experience in designing, implementing and managing processes for interfacing and data transfer between SAP and other applications
• Strong knowledge of Business Processes
• Worked before on IT projects
• Good communication skills
• Great attention, to details, well organized, team player, problem-solving, decision-making, result orientation, resilience, presentation skills, analytical thinking, people-management, goal-orientation
• Ability to work in a complex environment, handling various types of tasks in the financial area and its integration with other systems and/or solutions
• A landscape overview of the retail processes starting from the store to the financial processes would be a plus
• English language knowledge is a must
• Traveling on site in Romania, if required

Nice to have:

• IFRS knowledge, Plant maintenance, Investment management, Real estate modules, experience on SAP 4 HANA implementation
