SAP Basis Senior Consultant

Primary Functions and Tasks:

SAP Basis Administration

• Install, configure,upgrade and perform S4 conversion of SAP systems.
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage transports, system copies, patches, and upgrades.

System Maintenance & Support

• Monitor and resolve technical issues in SAP systems, including database and OS-level issues.
• Manage user access, roles, and authorizations.

Performance Optimization

• Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and recommend optimization strategies.
• Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and manage SAP security protocols.
• Perform users, roles, and authorizations management

We are looking for:

English and German advanced speaker

SAP Basis Administration (5+ years)

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP system installations, configurations, and upgrades.
• Experience on SAP S/4HANA Brownfield/Greenfield projects,
• Proficiency in managing complex SAP landscapes, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and Solution Manager.

SAP HANA Expertise

• General experience with SAP HANA database administration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with migrations to SAP HANA or S/4HANA.

System Maintenance

• Experience with system monitoring, backups, disaster recovery planning, and high availability setups.
• Regular application of patches, kernel upgrades, and system refreshes.

Integration and Interfaces

• Strong understanding of SAP system integration with third-party systems.
• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform integration capabilities.

Performance Tuning

• Proven ability to analyze and optimize system performance at the application, database, and infrastructure levels.

Security and Compliance

• Experience implementing and maintaining SAP security, including user management, roles, and authorizations.

Documentation

• Experience preparing technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.

Communication and Teamwork

• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior consultants and providing training to end-users.
