We're expanding fast—and we're looking for a 
Junior Financial Controller

You'll work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on exposure, and help shape the financial backbone of our European operations.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Reporting policies and procedures:
   Assist in implementing reporting policies and procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Participate in establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor business performance.
• Financial planning and analysis:
   Support financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Financial reporting:
   Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with company financial standards.
• Risk Management
  : Contribute to identifying financial risks and support the development of mitigation strategies. Monitor and assess market trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may impact the business.
• Cash flow management:
  Monitor cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic investments. Propose working capital optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize financial risk.
• Tax planning and compliance:
   Coordinate with external accounting/tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Regulatory compliance
  : Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate governance principles. Stay informed about regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.

Desired experience and know-how:

• Financial expertise:
  The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundational knowledge of finance. They should have comprehensive knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial analysis techniques. Relevant degree required, formal certifications would be a plus.
• Industry experience:
  Prior experience in B2B services or software is highly preferred.
• International experience:
  Optima Group started to scale up its operations across Europe, therefore some experience in managing financial operations across multiple jurisdictions would be valuable.
• Planning and execution:
  The Junior Controller should have abilities to support the planning and execution of the company's growth financial processes. This includes financial forecasting, budgeting, and controlling to optimize financial performance, monitor and report expansion initiatives.
• Communication skills:
  Strong communication skills are important for collaborating with stakeholders across various departments and jurisdictions.
• Analytical abilities:
  Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation is required to assess financial performance, identify trends, and support operational efficiency and profitability.

   systems, accounting software, and financial analysis tools.
• Professional fluency in
