We're looking for a
Financial Controller
/
Financial Analyst
who is analytically sharp, curious, and business-minded. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn fast, work directly with senior leaders, and partner with the business to drive real results. If you're looking to combine technical finance skills with exposure to commercial strategy — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Controlling & Reporting

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial and management reports
  • Analyze variances, trends, and key business drivers
  • Track and interpret performance indicators (KPIs)

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Collaborate with business units to gather insights and challenge assumptions

Business Partnering & Analysis

  • Work closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to understand business needs
  • Provide data-driven support for decision-making across departments

Financial Modelling & Planning

  • Develop models for scenario planning and investment analysis
  • Support new store openings, project evaluations, and cost control initiatives

Process & Tools Development

  • Contribute to building simple, scalable financial processes and reports
  • Help implement and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI reporting

Group Cooperation

  • Align reporting and analysis with Żabka Group standards
  • Take part in cross-country finance projects with Group teams

Candidate Requirements:

Education

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Experience

  • 2–5 years in a finance-related role (controlling, FP&A, audit, consulting, or similar)
  • Retail, FMCG, or startup exposure is a plus

Skills

  • Strong analytical mindset and financial modeling skills
  • Excel fluency; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP/Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) and BI tools
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute beyond the numbers

Languages

  • Fluent Romanian and English
