Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Architect specializing in SAP migration projects, including transitions to S/4HANA, HANA database, or cloud-based SAP environments. The architect will be responsible for defining the migration strategy, designing the technical and functional blueprint, and ensuring a seamless transformation aligned with both business objectives and SAP best practices. This is a senior, customer-facing role that requires deep expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to guide teams through complex SAP migration programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the overall SAP migration strategy (brownfield, greenfield, selective data transition) and build a detailed SAP application and infrastructure migration roadmap.

  • Design and validate the end-to-end solution architecture, ensuring alignment with the clients IT strategy, business goals, and SAP standards.

  • Provide technical and functional leadership during the transition to SAP S/4HANA, the HANA database, or cloud platforms.

  • Oversee data migration, including data transformation, loading, reconciliation, and validation using tools such as SAP Data Migration Cockpit.

  • Act as the primary, customer-facing design authority, offering expert recommendations and guiding both client stakeholders and internal project teams.

  • Ensure architectural consistency and quality across all deliverables, monitor project milestones, and assess business and IT readiness for go-live.

  • Support integration activities with SAP BTP, SAP PI/PO, CPI, and other relevant tools.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience with SAP migration methodologies, especially brownfield system conversions; experience with selective data transition is a strong plus.

  • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, HANA database, and core ERP modules.

  • Hands-on experience with SAP migration tools, cutover planning, and data migration techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud migration strategies and familiarity with cloud providers such as AWS, plus experience with SAP integration platforms (BTP, PI/PO, CPI).

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and ability to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.

  • 10+ years of experience in SAP programs, preferably in architecture or senior consulting roles.
