We are seeking a highly meticulous and analytical Income Auditor to join our Finance Team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the complete and accurate recording of all hotel revenues, perform daily audits, and maintain strict internal financial controls.

Core Responsibilities

The Income Auditor's main duties will be focused entirely on financial verification and control:

  • Daily Revenue Reconciliation:
    Obtain, audit, and reconcile all reports, vouchers, and receipts from Front Office and all operating outlets (F&B, Laundry, etc.).
  • Verification of Income:
    Ensure that all income recorded (cash, credit card, City Ledger) is fully supported by corresponding documentation (vouchers, checks, receipts) and verify against the Daily Revenue Report.
  • Audit of Controls:
    Verify the proper use and sequential order of all financial forms, including Food & Beverage checks, official receipts, and foreign exchange vouchers.
  • Review of Special Transactions:
    Audit and verify supporting documentation for all
    paid-outs
    ,
    allowances
    , complimentary/house use rooms, and discounted rates, ensuring proper approvals are obtained.
  • Financial Integrity:
    Audit charges forwarded to Accounts Receivable (City Ledger) and follow up on late charges, skippers, and questionable guest ledger movements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a financial, accounting, or auditing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of standard accounting principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in PMS (Property Management Systems) and financial accounting software, as well as MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
