Asset & Data Center Technician
What you'll have to do:
HQ Operations:

• Install and configure IT equipment for new employees (onboarding);
• Handle equipment return and recovery when colleagues leave the company (offboarding);
• Reinstall, configure, and prepare IT assets from storage to be handed out instantly when needed;
• Manage the shipping and receiving flow of IT equipment;
• Maintain the IT inventory: place orders, receive goods, and accurately update inventory records;
• Send and track equipment in service; check the equipment status upon return;
• Organize and maintain IT storage areas in an efficient and orderly manner;
• Follow internal procedures to ensure equipment integrity and security;
• Actively participate in team projects (e.g., equipment decommissioning, new showroom openings, etc.);
• Log a minimum of 8 hours/day in JIRA.

Data Center Operations:

• Physically install equipment in the Data Center based on plans agreed upon with Infrastructure teams (WSA, NOC, Linux);
• Decommission equipment in the Data Center in a structured manner following agreed plans;
• Perform cabling and manage connections according to infrastructure standards;
• Keep stock of materials required for cable management and place orders through the IT Procurement team;
• Document all interventions and activities performed in the Data Center;
• Track inventory and manage the physical disposal of decommissioned equipment;
• Follow all procedures for ensuring the protection and security of equipment.

What makes you a good fit:

• Basic knowledge of hardware and operating systems (Windows, macOS);
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and responsible when managing IT assets;
• Previous experience in a similar role or in an IT operations environment;
• Comfortable working in a command-line interface (CLI);
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal;
• A team player who enjoys helping others work without technical disruptions;
• Good command of English (at least B1–B2 level).

What makes you stand out:

• Experience using JIRA or other ticketing systems;
• Familiar with IT inventory processes, asset logistics, and lifecycle management;
• Experience working in a Data Center or similar technical environments;
• Basic knowledge of networking and cabling;
• Involved in past projects related to office openings or IT relocations;
• Understands the importance of following procedures and meeting SLAs.
