IT Engineering Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced
IT Engineering Lead
to join our IT Production team. In this role, you will support the
Head of IT Production
in leading, coaching, and coordinating a team of Windows and Linux System Administrators.

You will play a key role in
evaluating technical requests from customers
,
designing and implementing solutions
, and ensuring the
reliable delivery of managed services and IT infrastructure projects and products
.

Key Responsibilities

·      Act as a
technical lead and coach
for the System Administration team (Windows & Linux).

·      Coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring timely and quality response to internal and external customer requests.

·      Support the Head of IT Production in planning and allocating resources for infrastructure projects and service delivery.

·      Review and validate technical designs, implementation plans, and change requests.

·      Collaborate with Project Management, IT Platforms, and Security teams to ensure seamless delivery of end-to-end solutions.

·      Monitor activities and services tehnical performance , driving continuous improvement initiatives.

·      Contribute to the definition and improvement of operational processes, documentation, and automation standards.

·      Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

Requirements

·      
5+ years of experience
in IT infrastructure operations or systems engineering (Windows, Linux, or hybrid environments).

·      
2+ years of experience
in a technical leadership or team coordination role.

·      Strong hands-on knowledge of virtualization, networking, and IT service management processes (ITIL).

·      Experience delivering or supporting
infrastructure projects
and
managed services
for multiple customers.

·      Good understanding of automation and monitoring tools (e.g., CheckMK, Zabbix, etc.).

·      Excellent communication and coaching skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into actionable plans.

·      Exposure to
cloud and hybrid environments
(VMware, Azure).

·      Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

·      ITIL Foundation or equivalent certification.

·      Microsoft or Linux server computing (OS, Cloud) certifications
