Lead DevOps Engineer

LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider. LSEG makes financial data accessible to its customers. When source financial data is found in a narrative, unstructured text format, it is required to extract and convert the relevant information found in it in a structured, accessible format. This process includes NLP (Natural Language Processing, a branch of Machine Learning) and sometimes manual effort by subject matter experts.

This role will work as part of a scrum team, collaborating with business analysts and developers. The responsibility is to lead DevOps process in a scrum team, design, build, debug and troubleshoot AWS/Azure based solutions.

Experience required:

Must Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and building AWS/Azure infrastructure. Experience and strong understanding of AWS/Azure concepts, including Accounts, Subscriptions, Virtual Networks, Subnets, Security Groups, NAT Gateways, Application Gateway, EKS/AKS, Cloudwatch, Lambda, etc…
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in provisioning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise or Community edition.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in building CI/CD solutions using Jenkins/Gitlab CI
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes and Helm.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Logging, Alerting and Monitoring solutions (ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana, BigPanda, Datadog, etc…)
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Linux OS and networking.
