Purpose:

This role is responsible for driving operational excellence and enabling commercial success by providing operational support to customer-facing teams, optimizing business processes, and ensuring data-driven decision making. The role ensures alignment between commercial priorities, and drives important strategic initiatives around customer experience, digital marketing, sales effectiveness, and go-to-market - delivering sustainable efficiency gains, better customer experience, and measurable business impact across the country group.

Key tasks:

  • Lead support squad providing operational support to customer-facing teams (Comex, Sales Effectiveness, BI, Customer Experience) to enhance overall commercial performance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that streamline operations, reduce complexity, and increase efficiency across customer-facing teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, deliver cost savings, and ensure operational excellence.
  • Drive sales effectiveness by improving tools, processes and performance tracking, ensuring customer-facing squads have the insights and capabilities needed to deliver stronger customer engagement and results
  • Monitor commercial performance, analyze trends, and identify actionable insights to improve results
  • Foster collaboration and communication across squads, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
  • Act as a trusted business partner, ensuring operational execution aligns with strategic commercial priorities and delivers measurable impact
  • Support change management initiatives in collaboration with EMEA teams, ensuring clear communication, stakeholder engagement, and smooth adoption of new ways of working.
  • Uphold data governance and compliance, maintaining accuracy, integrity, and security across systems and reports.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing solutions (e.g. automation) that enhance decision-making, efficiency, and customer experience.
  • Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies that maximize brand visibility, generate qualified leads, and drive measurable business growth across all digital channels.
  • Champion customer experience within commercial operations by aligning processes, tools, and performance metrics to deliver faster, more consistent, and value-adding interactions across all customer touchpoints.
  • Lead the development and execution of Go-to-Market strategies that align commercial priorities, marketing initiatives, and sales execution to maximize market penetration and customer value.
  • Guide, coach and develop the squad towards a high-performing team that drives collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Proven experience in commercial operations, with a deep understanding of business processes, systems and data-driven decision making
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, focused on identifying insights, driving process improvements and enhancing business efficiency
  • Leadership and team-building skills, with a track record in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate operational insights into actionable business recommendations
  • Proficiency in digital tools, CRM, and marketing automation platforms to support sales effectiveness and digital transformation initiatives
  • Adaptability and resilience in a DSO model

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, agriculture, business, marketing or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in agri-business and/or or commercial and managerial roles
