RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the installation and validation of machines in Backend production area (Selective soldering, conformal coating, PCBA washing, glue dispensing, coating inspection, and depaneling)
• Responsible for specifying requirements for equipment, tools, fixtures, jigs, and pallets
• Responsible for pre-acceptance of equipment, tools, fixtures, jigs, and pallets
• Responsible for acceptance of equipment, tools, fixtures, jigs, and pallets
• Provide DFM (Design for Manufacturing) support
• Input for stencil design
• Responsible for project implementation in production
• Responsible for trials
• Responsible for process validation and POS (Production Start-up)
• Machines, utilities, and implementation of traceability systems
• Create Process Flow Diagrams
• Develop and maintain process documentation
• Involved in specifying type, scope, and quantity of individual operating equipment (including provisional or series tools, test equipment, special machinery)
• Determine staffing requirements and production times
• Create and update work instructions
• Responsible for continuous improvement and process training for maintenance and operators
• Analyze and improve machine process capacity and efficiency
• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
• Validate Production Processes
• Develop maintenance plans for equipment
• Design, implement, and integrate solutions focused on tracking, analyzing, and improving the manufacturing process for conveyor handling in Backend (Selective soldering, conformal coating, PCBA washing, glue dispensing, coating inspection, and depaneling)
• Provide and manage production support for Backend (Selective soldering, conformal coating, PCBA washing, glue dispensing, coating inspection, and depaneling)
• Configure system settings and options, plan and execute acceptance testing with the necessary documentation
• Create documentation including project engineering notes, project proposals, and project traceability documentation
• May be subject to potential 24/7 technical support to ensure timely response and resolution of manufacturing issues
• Report issues to the IE Manager as they arise

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Robotics Engineering,
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a process engineer in the automotive industry (for Backend: Selective soldering, conformal coating, Optional: PCBA washing, glue dispensing, coating inspection, and depaneling)
• Standard IPC inspection
• Knowledge of KPI, CPK, SPC processes
• Operation and programming of Backend equipment (Selective soldering, conformal coating, PCBA washing, glue dispensing, coating inspection, and depaneling)
• Basic knowledge of electronic components
• Knowledge of the Backend process (Selective soldering, conformal coating, PCBA washing, glue dispensing, coating inspection, and depaneling)
• Ability to understand electrical and electronic schematics, as well as pneumatic diagrams
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
