Job Description

Main objective of the job:

• Lead the implementation of legal tax requirements into our accounting processes, specifically focusing on the Bill to Cash (B2C) area. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations within our SAP systems, R3 and S/4HANA, while managing and coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet tax obligations efficiently.

Specific job responsibilities:

• Implement tax requirements within the R/3 and S/4HANA processes, focusing on indirect taxes related to the Bill to Cash (B2C) process.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure that tax requirements are effectively implemented in all Bill to Cash (B2C) area.
• Map and integrate tax requirements into accounting processes, ensuring compliance within SAP systems.
• Lead and manage projects related to the implementation of tax requirements, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements related to indirect tax compliance within the accounting systems.
• Offer support in S/4HANA Concept and Implementation of New Tax Determination Technology via Tax Engine - VERTEX.
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding the application of tax requirements and best practices in SAP.
• Support unit testing, integration testing (IT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for implementation scenarios.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.
• Fluent in English (writing & speaking).
• Proven experience in implementing indirect tax requirements in accounting processes, preferably within SAP systems.
• Solid understanding of indirect tax regulations in B2R, B2C, and I2P processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering tax-related implementations on time.
• Experience with SAP R/3, S/4HANA HANA, or other relevant ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of international indirect tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Very good presentation skills.
• Strong personality with leadership potential, a proactive approach, and a 'can-do' attitude.
• Team player.
