Sr Expert Risks, Soil, Biodiv&SustainDate: 15 Aug 2025Location: Bucharest, RO, 013329Company: OMV GroupYour tasksActs as OMV Petrom Group-wide subject matter expert on all environmental management topics: environmental risk assessment, biodiversity and soil managementShows a very good understanding of the interdependencies between business activities;Advises senior management within the area of expertise;Develops policy, strategy, targets and KPI's;Responsible for recommending and monitoring standards, processes, communications, trainings and systems for improvement along with the associated cross-divisional audit program and monitoring of improvement measures implementationOversees the development of appropriate Environmental Management Plans, Spill response plans and Biodiversity action plansSupports, monitors and improves Petrom group wide biodiversity and soil related reporting (incl spills), including the definition, implementation and follow-up of general environmental risk assessments;Evaluates reporting performance process, ensuring efficiency, relevance and data reviewDevelops, delivers, monitors and reports on training programsYour profileBachelor's degree- in environmental/technical engineering; biodiversity focus would be an advantageHas excellent understanding of the business context, all interfaces and interdependencies and manages complex workflows with other disciplinesRelevant professional experience > 5 years would be an advantageLanguage skills: excellent command of (written and spoken) English and RomanianWorking knowledge: national and international (especially EU) environmental and risk assessment legislation
