The MissionYour day to day
  • You readily deal with incidents and requests raised by our users, but also downstream customers Perform root cause analysis to determine the actual failure cause and implement structural fixes. You communicate directly with users world wide
  • You assist with functional specifications for change requests and testing release stories.
  • You take ownership of issues and improvements, seeing them through to completion, providing comprehensive handover as required
  • As part of a cross-border (Bucharest, London, Amsterdam, Singapore) Capability Squad you work in an Agile/Scrum way, on the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner, and you demo your features to other Capability colleagues and the stakeholders alike
  • Our platform has a global user base of Risk Managers, Traders, Sales in Singapore, Europe and New York, you are responsible for supporting a stable, performing and secure platform/service.
  • Support in performing High Availability and Disaster Recovery tests
  • Continuous deployment and delivery using Azure DevOps
  • Find opportunities to automate the testing of existing features, performance and security as well as the automation of deployments, monitoring, and more. This is a key responsibility of the Operations Engineers
  • Help the developers/peers working for other systems to understand the root cause for a problem or existing gap for an enhancement
  • IT Risk & security controls need to be put in place and accurately documented, for this you will need to get familiar and keep up to date with the ING Information Security Management Policy
Experience:
  • You have strong knowledge of Interest Rate / Credit Derivatives and Treasury Products.
  • Good understanding of the Murex
  • ​You have a good/solid knowledge of Murex implementation / migration / upgrade projects
  • Using Linux commands at a beginner to intermediate level
  • Comfortable using SQL in your daily activities
  • JMS familiarity
  • Testing knowledge: Test scenario, execution, regression testing
  • Test automation skills (via python scripts)
  • MX testing suite knowledge
  • Knowledge on CI/CD, and experience with Azure DevOps
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python, PowerShell, Korn shell, Perl);
  • A customer focus, with the mindset to find and resolve root causes of incidents to structurally improve the customer experience.
Nice to have
  • 3 years of experience in a Murex functional role
  • Strong communicator and able to work in a pressurized environment to deadlines
  • Security and IT Risk (SOX, vulnerability management)
  • Shell scripting: Korn shell, Python, Perl
  • Experience working on vendor Treasury applications
  • MX Test Reporting -Diff function
  • Test Management Support nice to have
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Foreign languages: English (advanced)
  • Education: Education at Bachelor/Master level with a strong analytical background, in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering or equivalent
