The Scor Tech department (~200 employees across the globe) provides products, services, and support to all SCOR Group worldwide. Its 2 key challenges today are to successfully implement its new Target Operating Model (TOM), to be supported by an ambitious pluri-annual internalization plan to deliver innovative products and services to its clients.

The Scor Tech organization is an Agile matricial organization relying on 4 pillars:

• Data and System Engineering , made of the following teams: Data Center of Excellence, Products and Systems Engineering and Enterprise Architecture
• Management & Control (M&C) & Corporate Systems , made of teams supporting Crews and Transversal Functional Domains: Governance, T&D Operating Model Implementation, Security & Compliance, Financial Control, Sourcing & Vendor Management, Governance, and Processes
• Technical , made of teams dedicated to IT Operations, Network, Cloud, Workplace & Cloud Productivity Services
• Crews and Transversal Functional Domains

Crews are supported by Chapters (Software Engineering, Architecture, Data, and Operation) and both Technical and M&C teams are fully dedicated to the delivery of SCOR products, services and support.

As a member of the Engineering Platform team your responsibilities are to:

• Collaborate to common CI Factory Design, Guidelines & Documentation
• Maintain CI Factory ecosystem
• Improve CI Factory solution both
• horizontally (more Dev oriented features such as support for additional PaaS or development languages) and
• vertically (more Ops oriented such as monitoring and backup)
  Train & Support DevOps Specialists whether from Ops or Dev.

CI Factory objectives are to deliver fully integrated and vertical services to:

• Provision Infrastructure as Code
• Deploy core technology components
  Provide Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) to support SCOR development initiatives

Objectives for the first year (or 2 years)

• Deliver Engineering Platform on time and in budget
• Maintain Engineering Platform availability and reliability
• Abide to and enforce SCOR Operation and Security practices

Key duties and responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the Head of Engineering Platform, your mission and tasks will be to:

• Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to rationalize them into common standards
• Establish milestones for necessary contributions from departments and develop processes to facilitate their collaboration
• Assist other department engineers in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating them to other members of the team
• Provide clear goals for project onboarding and develop steps to oversee their timely execution
• Work closely with engineering professionals within the company to maintain hardware and software needed for projects to be completed efficiently
• Mentor and train other engineers throughout the company and seek to continually improve processes companywide
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives

Required experience & competencies

• 2+ years of experience automating IT Production systems
  Fluent in English (written, spoken)

Hard skills

• Solid experience with Jenkins, GIT, Terraform and Ansible
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Groovy, Bash, PS, Python
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services
• Strong knowledge of Operations practices
• Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
• Database scripting languages, Liquibase
  Azure Services experience desirable

Required Education

Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related analytical field; or equivalent experience
