About the Role

At CLA Romania, we're looking for a driven
Senior Accountant
to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, collaborating with experts across various business lines and industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the verification of accurate accounting reports and supporting documentation;
  • Identify solutions to problems, opportunities, or issues raised
  • Ensure work is complete within the specified time frame and manage risk before the deadline where work is falling behind schedule Providing and interpreting financial information
  • Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities
  • Managing the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out
  • Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g., auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations
  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the Accounting practice.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role;
  • Prior experience in consultancy will be preferable;
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and the ability to work with deadlines;
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of business;
