Our mission is to provide reliable, governed, and scalable business intelligence solutions to departments such as traffic, orders, warehouse, and sales. We are a cross-functional unit of engineers, analysts, and architects working on modern data platforms and tools such as Spark, DBT, Airflow, PySpark, and Tableau.As anEngineering Manager, you will lead and shape the data strategy and delivery, driving technical excellence and business impact through robust and agile BI solutions.What you'll have to do:Led 9 technical BI teams working with technologies like DBT, Airflow, PySpark, Spark and Tableau;Work across technical teams to align data engineering efforts with strategic objectives and ensure long-term platform consistency;Lead efforts to reduce data fragmentation by defining structured, reusable, and governed data foundations across key business domains;Oversee the development of core datasets, ensuring they are versioned, well-documented, and easily consumable by analysts and data consumers;Ensure data governance by enforcing development standards, validation mechanisms, and rigorous documentation practices;Promote consistency and reliability of data assets by encouraging ownership, standardization, and collaboration across BI and adjacent tech teams;Guide adoption and best practices for used technologies in a large-scale on-prem data environment;Support the growth and autonomy of BI engineers, while driving focus on business impact, delivery cadence, and high-quality outcomes.What makes you a good fit:Proven experience in leading large BI/Data Engineering teams (>20 people), ideally with a structure consisting of Team Leaders and engineers;Strong understanding of big data ecosystems (HDFS, Spark, Airflow), modern data stack (DBT), and visualization tools (Tableau), DevOps and governance;Excellent stakeholder management and transformational leadership capabilities;Experience organizing teams around functional data domains;Product and business value-oriented mindset - focused on analytical products, not just pipelines.What makes you stand out:Strong technical background - capable of evaluating estimates and complexity in Spark, DBT, PySpark, and Tableau, without direct coding involvement;Experience working with distributed teams and heterogeneous technologies, integrating data from multiple sources into centralized platforms (ideally big data + cloud/hybrid environments);Clarity in execution - enforcing high standards in data organization, code quality, and delivery discipline;What we've prepared for you:Medical subscription: Medicover, MedLife or Regina Maria.A flexible budget that you can invest in yourself as you wish: meal tickets, holiday tickets, cultural vouchers, private pension, foreign language classes, eMAG, Fashion Days, Therme & Genius, membership to different gyms or even professional development classes.Different discounts from our partners: banking, mobile, dental medicine or wellness.Access to the Bookster library and free credits on the Hilio psycho-emotional health platform.An accelerated learning environment, with access to over curated online resources and platforms, learning academies and development programs.New headquarters, where sleek design, natural light, and versatile spaces create an energizing and comfortable environment for hybrid work.Curious to find out more about the next step in your career?Apply nowand if your experience is relevant for the role you wish, we will give you a call for more details Also, here you can find our confidentiality policy if you want to consult it.
