Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of game engineers within our dynamic iGaming company. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of multiple projects, collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders, and aligning engineering efforts with business objectives.

This role involves team development, project management, and technical leadership, with a strong focus on innovation, performance, and continuous improvement. Candidates with a background in iGaming and live casino environments will be highly valued.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of game engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Create career and development paths for soft and hard skills of teams members based on an evaluation of the team needs
  • First point of contact for stakeholders for multiple projects that will organize the team to resolve issues and deliver solutions in time (release responsible).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, and stakeholders, to drive the successful delivery of iGaming products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head Of Engineering and other key stakeholders to align technical strategies with business goals (OKR's).
  • Establish and maintain project plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation, realistic timelines, and effective risk management.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, project status, and any potential challenges or risks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the development process where applicable.

Main Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role (within the iGaming industry will be a plus).
  • Strong background in game engineering and leading a full stack engineering team in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience in people management, including hiring, performance evaluation, and team development.
  • Strong planning and project management skills, with the ability to build and execute project plans effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • A strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of delivering high-quality products on time.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
