Junior Accountant – Bucharest

, we're expanding our Finance team and looking for a
Junior Accountant
to join us in Bucharest. This role is perfect for someone with 3–4 years of experience who wants to take ownership of key responsibilities and build a career in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Record and reconcile issued/received invoices, bank statements (RON & EUR), and cash collections.
  • Manage
    accounts payable/receivable
    , ensuring accuracy, proper follow-up, and up-to-date balances.
  • Prepare and issue
    client invoices
    according to contracts and billing schedules.
  • Support
    payroll processing
    and consolidated payroll reports.
  • Maintain an electronic archive of accounting/financial documents.
  • Prepare and submit statistical reports to
    INS
    and
    BNR
    .
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Support internal & external audits with required documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with our
    external accounting firm
    and internal departments to ensure compliance and smooth information flow.
  • Provide support with
    budget preparation
    and financial monitoring.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in
    Accounting, Finance, or related field
    .
  • 3–4 years of proven accounting experience
    .
  • Strong knowledge of
    Romanian accounting standards and tax regulations
    .
  • Advanced Excel skills (experience with
    SAGA software
    is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in
    Romanian and English
    .
