Junior Accountant – TP-Link Romania (Bucharest Office)

As our team in Bucharest is growing, we are looking for a motivated Accounting Assistant to join us and support our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone with a background in accounting or business operations, who is detail-oriented and eager to develop in the financial field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ledger Maintenance: Accurately maintain and reconcile daily cash and bank journals.
  • Retrieval and recording of daily bank statements.
  • Payment Processing: Execute basic payment entries for vendor invoices and other accounts payable transactions, ensuring complete documentation.
  • Expense Review: Verify employee expense reports for compliance with company policies and accuracy of calculations.
  • Credit Control: Support shipment credit control by monitoring customer accounts and assisting in the accounts receivable process.
  • Rebate Management: Handle the calculation, verification, and settlement of rebate and incentive programs with customers.
  • Month-End Support: Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, reconciliations, and audit preparations.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business operations.
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, patience, and numerical accuracy.
  • Good communication skills in English.
