Job Mission
The Business Development Manager plays a key role in facilitating market entry in Romania of the Cubis Systems products ), bringing new business opportunities and generating future sales.
The position is located in Romania, hired in Tehnoworld, a CRH Company, as part of the sales team, and will report to the Managing Director Water Solutions. The main assignment of the role is to evaluate the market for the products of Cubis Systems, find and build new business opportunities through market research, build partnerships with significant stakeholders, and drive adoption of the Cubis solutions.
Key responsibilities include researching the market, building relationships with key stakeholders, understanding the regulated nature of the target industry, and promoting the product and solutions portfolio, while creating a pipeline of potential markets, projects, customers, partnerships, working with the marketing department on promotional activities and materials to facilitate and drive future sales.
- Representation in new channels and end-user markets
- Market research and competitive analysis
- Create and maintain a strong network of relevant relationships and build strategic partnerships
- Generate leads
- Create sales forecasts for proposed markets and reports
- Advocacy for Company's interests
- Collaboration with Marketing & Sales Teams
- Adhere to the principles and rules stated in the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Policy of ROMCIM Romania, in the relevant legislation, and in the OHS, Emergency Situations, and Environment documents relevant for the role.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree /Master level studies – technical field
- Fluency in English
- Ability to understand, lead and evaluate technical projects in the relevant domains
- Relevant project management experience and proven skills
- Comprehensive understanding and experience in operational techniques and principles obtained through formal training and professional development
- Good understanding of organizational environment - including structure, culture, relevant policies, and procedures
- Solid knowledge and understanding of health and safety behaviors and controls, financial systems, and processes (P&L included)
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess and interpret key market trends and patterns, identifying business opportunities from diverse channels
- Analyzing sales figures and reporting
- Demonstrated evidence of influential relationships with a network of key individuals industry contacts, and influential figures
- Excellent telephone and direct communication manners for making initial contact and ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent presentation skills
- Commercial awareness and negotiating skills
- Tenacity and drive to seek new business opportunities and meet or exceed targets
- Interpersonal and networking skills for building and developing relationships with customers/prospects
- Creative approach to work and seek out new opportunities; strategic thinking
