Main Responsibilities:
  • Accounting Team leadership;
  • Submit monthly statutory declarations to tax authorities and other public institutions
  • Ensure the accurate and timely recording of AP invoices in compliance with both accounting principles and company policies
  • Ensure tax compliance according to local rules and timelines
  • Post journal entries, including clearing and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts
  • Elaborate and report the Cash-flow
  • Preparing the statutory trial balance
  • Identify and record monthly expense accruals
  • Reconcile accounts payable
  • Execute payment processes following internal procedures
  • Prepare and deliver correct, complete, and compliant reports for monthly closing activities, group reporting and tax audits performed by fiscal authorities
  • Maintain effective control of the processes
  • Setup and improvement of accounting processes and procedures
  • Monthly reporting of the turnover to the Landlords according to the current contracts and other accounting reports requested by them
  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Reporting:
  • Management reporting to CEO, CFO of the Group;
Candidate Profile:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an Economic University (ASE or similar); a background in an Economic High School is a plus;
  • PC, MS Office (advancedExcel skills – mandatory requirement);
  • Experience:
  • 5 years of relevant accounting experience and using of ERP&aaccounting software;
  • 1 years of experience in retail, FMCG, or the fuel station industry is a plus;
  • Profound knowledge of Romanian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Dynamic, well organized and disciplined, with an eye for details and analytical skills;
  • Written / verbal communication skills - the role will have continuous communication with the suppliers accounting and Shareholders of the business;
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
