PLEASE NOTE: this is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on site - Bucharest.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with business lines to clarify and document business requirements.
  • Assess feasibility, benefits, and risks and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze the impact of business requirements on existing systems and the overall IT landscape.
  • Provide effort estimations for analysis and solution design work.
  • Transform business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Participate in solution design, supporting the development and testing phases.
  • Maintain specifications up to date throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating approved changes.
  • Offer post-implementation support to system administrators during stabilization.
  • Conduct functional and gap analysis for new applications (RfPs), document specific requirements, and participate in the evaluation process.

Tools/Software Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Advanced skills in at least one SQL dialect (T-SQL, PL/SQL, DB2 SQL, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with data management solutions (data warehouse, reporting systems).
  • Familiarity with data warehouse, data integration, and BI technologies.
  • Experience with data modeling tools (PowerDesigner preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both IT and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess complex systems and propose structured, feasible solutions.

Education and Soft Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or related field;
  • Minimum
    3 years
    of experience in business and system analysis for projects and ongoing changes.
  • Fluent in
    English
    (both written and spoken).
  • Previous experience within the
    financial services
    sector is highly appreciated.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to translate technical information into business language.
  • Team player, energetic, inquisitive, and eager to learn and grow.
  • Open to sharing ideas and collaborating across disciplines.
