Position Overview

Morgan Latif has been exclusively retained by a global, multi-site industrial organisation to appoint a senior operational leader for a confidential mandate at the global level.

We are searching for a
Global Operational Excellence Director
who will play a central role in shaping the organisation's operational transformation strategy. Reporting into a top-tier global manufacturing executive, this role will drive standardisation, productivity improvements, and operational excellence across an extensive international manufacturing network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global process excellence initiatives, identifying capability gaps and enhancing standardisation across a diverse manufacturing footprint.
  • Collaborate with regional and functional teams to elevate operational performance and reinforce manufacturing competencies worldwide.
  • Develop and execute global roadmaps for asset utilisation, productivity gains, and cost optimisation.
  • Drive year-over-year productivity improvements and fixed-cost reduction initiatives aligned with long-term strategic planning.
  • Benchmark and deploy new technologies and best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead centrally driven operational reviews and improvement projects across all sites.
  • Strengthen organisational capability through leadership development and strategic workforce initiatives.
  • Support a customer-focused operational culture aimed at delivering consistent, world-class performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or Project Management.
  • 10+ years' experience in senior operations, industrial supply chain, or manufacturing leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success leading transformation initiatives across complex, multi-site operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing value chains and enterprise operating systems.
  • Experience in major operational transitions, footprint optimisation, or large-scale process improvement programs.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (required); Black Belt or equivalent expertise preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management skills across all levels of an organisation.
