We're looking for a
Food Safety Specialist
who is
passionate with legal compliance and internal standards of hygiene and food safety
across the store and logistics network
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the implementation of
    HACCP
    procedures and compliance with veterinary–sanitary legislation.
  • Assess hygiene and operational compliance in stores and logistics centers; conduct periodic audits/inspections.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with authorities (
    DSV, ANPC, etc.
    ); support inspections and close non-conformities.
  • Coordinate
    product withdrawals
    and
    food alerts
    ; ensure traceability and reporting.
  • Analyze inspection reports and develop
    Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA)
    plans.
  • Participate in
    veterinary–sanitary authorization
    processes for new activities or operational changes.
  • Collaborate with Operations/Quality teams to resolve customer complaints related to food safety.
  • Inform and periodically train store/warehouse staff on
    Good Hygiene Practices (GHP)
    and internal standards.

Candidate Requirements

Experience:

  • 2–5 years in a retail role

Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of
    HACCP
    ,
    GHP/GMP
    , and the veterinary–sanitary legal framework.
  • Strong analysis and reporting skills (including Excel); data/KPI orientation.
  • Excellent communication (with internal partners and external institutions); influencing and field-coaching ability.
  • Highly organized, rigorous, results-oriented; proactive with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities; flexibility and resilience under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability for
    mobility
    (store and warehouse visits).

fluency in English
