GET is the technology organization within Ahold Delhaize that is specifically accountable for building and supporting the digital and tech landscape of the Etos and Gall & Gall retail brands in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities Of Your Role.

  • Infrastructure as Code: Utilizing tools like Terraform and PowerShell to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources, ensuring consistency and scalability across environments.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions to facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Cloud Service Management: Designing and operating Azure core services, including virtual networks, storage accounts, and Kubernetes clusters (AKS), to support various applications and services.
  • Security and Compliance: Establishing and enforcing security baselines and governance policies to protect cloud resources and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaboration and Support: Working closely with solution architects, platform engineers, and product teams to deliver cloud solutions that meet business needs, as well as providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting support.

Requirements.
We think you'll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:
Infrastructure and Automation

  • Hands-on experience with provisioning infrastructure in Azure using Terraform
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for virtual machine configuration and automation
  • Developing and maintaining workflows using GitHub Actions
  • Working knowledge of Docker, including building and maintaining custom images
  • Ability to manage tasks end-to-end: from requirements gathering, designing the infrastructure, provisioning, and support

Azure Platform

  • Understanding hub and spoke network architecture
  • Virtual networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs)
  • Private endpoints, service endpoints

Development and scripting

  • Proficiency in any high-level programming language (Python, Go, C#, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Scripting skills with Powershell and Bash
  • Experience using Git for version control
  • Familiarity with Json, Yaml

Networking

  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP, UDP, HTTPS, etc.)
  • DNS and DHCP
  • Familiarity with ports, firewall rules, and common network services

Operating systems

  • Windows administration
  • Linux administration (RedHat)
