ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Cloud DevOps Lead you will be leading our DevOps capability as part of AWS multi-tenant architecture building Real time products for our customers in LSEG AWS Public Cloud. With new innovative solutions you will be leading on architecting and designing the overall DevOps operating model by working with a talented team or architect and developers along with Real-Time product teams.
You will also play a part in building the wider team globally as part of Real-Time DevOps competency buildout.
As the Lead DevOps engineer within Engineering Foundations you will be part of a implementing the CI/CD and building the containerized platform alongside the chance to lead the design and deliver solutions within a complex and interesting real-time market data solution. Your responsibilities will range from being a technical innovator, a subject matter expert, a mentor & guide, a consultant and a trouble-shooter.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Working with core team in designing and building the new multi-tenant architecture solution in AWS
- Delivery to customers with excellence, reliability, sustainable and predictability
- To achieve success the candidate will need to be committed, accountable, analytical, work well in a team and reactive to service impacting issues
- You will be working with Market data in the financial sector so experience of delivering market data solutions in hybrid ecosystem including cloud is essential
- You will solving various issues and problems across the platform stack and avoid them from reoccurrence and improve the overall platform stability
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Essential Technical Skills
- AWS,Terraform,Git,Maven, HELM,CICD ,Kubernetes/Docker/Containers
- Developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines across multiple technology stacks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In depth knowledge of AWS multi-tenant architecture
- Experienced in core and advanced DevOps as part of cloud buildout
- Familiarity with Kubernetes for containerizing applications and managing deployments
- Experience with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana for monitoring application and infrastructure performance
- Experience in working with and troubleshooting operating systems like Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux, RedHat Enterprise Linux and Windows
- Good understanding on ITIL practises
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Ensure security and compliance across all environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management
Desirable Technical Skills
:
- Infra as Code: Terraform, AWS CDK
- Alerting, Monitoring: CloudWatch, DataDog
- Config Management: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, PowerShell
- AWS services: EC2, S3, VPC,IAM,Lambda etc
- Programming and Scripting: Python,Java,JavaScript
