— you'll be the hands-on builder who turns agentic designs into reliable, scalable, production-grade systems. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with product, platform, and architecture teams to implement multi-agent workflows that deliver measurable business outcomes. The role sits at the heart of our EMEA Agentic AI & Automations CoE within the EMEA Digital Workplace organization and reports to the EMEA Head of Innovation & Agentic AI.

What you'll do every day

• Build and ship Agentic AI systems that automate real business use cases.
• end-to-end implementation: stand up Agentic AI systems, integrate tools, wire up APIs, harden for reliability, and get features to production.
• Productize Agentic AI with modern infrastructure—containerize services, define Helm charts or Terraform where appropriate, and deploy to Kubernetes-based, microservices environments.
• Vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate), agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, LangChain, AutoGen), and RAG pipelines.
• Translate business needs into concrete agent behaviors by collaborating closely with product owners, SMEs, and the Senior Agentic AI Solution Architect; encode those behaviors as maintainable blueprints and tests.
• Monitor and continuously optimize live Agentic AI systems—own evaluation harnesses, telemetry, guardrails, safety checks, and performance tuning for latency, cost, and quality.
• Keep production healthy—troubleshoot agent issues, tune prompts/policies, optimize memory/tool selection, and support day-to-day operations with strong observability.
• Support day-to-day operations of Agentic AI systems, troubleshoot agents issues, monitor system performance, and provide technical guidance to keep production environments healthy.

Where Conversational AI becomes your craft

• Design, build, and maintain conversational AI workflows across chat and Voice Agentic AI.
• Build real-time voice stacks with streaming STT/TTS (e.g., Azure Speech or equivalent), barge-in, endpointing, VAD, and smart DTMF fallbacks—targeting low turn-latency and high goal-completion.
• Integrate with telephony and CCaaS platforms via SIP, RTP/SRTP, or WebRTC (e.g., Teams Phone/ACS, RingCentral, etc) and enable seamless escalation to human agents.
• Implement conversation design and dialog management patterns—intent/entity extraction, slot filling, state tracking, tool-use planning, and repair strategies for ASR/NLU errors.
• Instrument transcripts and turn-level metrics, run A/B tests, and "break/fix" issues such as hallucinations, crosstalk, endpointing errors, and tool timeouts.
• Enforce compliance from the start—PII/PCI redaction
• Build, maintain and troubleshoot AI Agents that can enter a Voice or Chat sessions to run guided support, requests assistance or troubleshooting flows with human-in-the-loop handoffs.

• Track the latest agentic capabilities in the ecosystem and identify where they meaningfully improve reliability, safety, or total cost of ownership.
• Mentor engineers on agentic design principles, reusable patterns, testing strategies, and production hardening.

What you bring

• Hands-on experience (3+ years) building AI Agents and, ideally, Agentic AI use cases.
• Deep practical expertise with Microsoft Azure AI services—especially Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Semantic Kernel.
• Strong Python development for AI Agent orchestration with multi-agent frameworks and vector databases (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and production-ready RAG pipelines.
• Expertise with Google Cloud AI offerings (Vertex AI, PaLM models, GCP RAG pipelines).
• Broad experience across Azure AI (Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, Cognitive Search, Azure AI Studio).
• Expert creating multi-agent apps with the new Azure AI Agents Service in Azure AI Foundry, from setup through deployment.
• Exposure to other Agentic AI/automation platforms—Aisera (ideal), , n8n, Make, Zapier—and the pragmatism to choose the right tool for the job.
• A knack for spotting high-impact opportunities for transformation, automation, and AI in enterprise environments and turning them into shippable increments.
• Working knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure - ideal; AWS/GCP), enterprise integration patterns, and DevOps practices.
• Solid grasp of advanced AI concepts: multi-agent workflows, tool-use planning, reasoning/decision engines, autonomous agent design.
• Full-cycle experience with the agentic AI development lifecycle—from early experiments and pre-prod hardening to full production rollout and continuous improvement.
• The ability to evaluate, test, and implement the most effective platforms and patterns for Agentic AI use cases—including building alternatives to Aisera workflows using Azure AI Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or Power Platform where that best serves the outcome.
• Robust software engineering foundation (5+ years) designing and implementing complex systems.
• Expert-level Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks; practical use of AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Experience designing and operating distributed systems and microservices, plus API development and debugging in the real world.
• A track record of running production AI systems with monitoring, logging, tracing, and cost/latency/quality observability.
• Strong understanding of LLM evaluation metrics, fine-tuning approaches, and disciplined prompt/behavior engineering.
• Hands-on containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Proven ability to implement CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI applications, including model/prompt/config versioning and safe rollout strategies.

Nice to have

• Power Platform experience that helps bridge quick wins with enterprise scale.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A), and other emerging agentic protocols.
• A habit of rapid prototyping for Generative and Agentic AI solutions, turning experiments into patterns others can reuse.
• Exposure to ITSM and Contact Center/Customer Service systems and processes —useful context for real-world agent workflows.
• Experience with AI safety and red-team testing frameworks.
