Job Description:The Accountant is responsible for processing and reconciling incoming invoices, managing cash and bank documents, and resolving discrepancies in data. It requires communication with suppliers and clients via email and phone, regular reporting to supervisors, collaboration with other departments, and handling ad hoc tasks as directed.

Bookkeeping:

Record and categorize financial transactions using accounting software or manually, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Romanian accounting standards.

Invoice Processing:

Generate and process invoices for goods and services, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide an overview of the company's financial position.

Expense Management:

Track and manage company expenses, ensuring that they are properly documented and reimbursed according to company policies and local regulations.

Compliance with Accounting Standards:

Stay up to date with changes in Romanian accounting regulations and ensure that the company's financial practices align with these standards.

Communication with Tax Authorities:

Correspond with tax authorities as needed, responding to inquiries, submitting required documents, and ensuring the company is following tax regulations.

Audit Preparation:

Prepare documentation and assist auditors during external or internal audits to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Other reports required by management.
