As an
Asset Analyst
, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior Finance Manager in managing the commercial, financial, and administrative aspects of multiple renewable energy project companies. This position is central to ensuring compliance, financial performance, and operational efficiency throughout the lifecycle of the projects—from construction to operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contractual & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, licenses, and permits.
- Monitor and maintain statutory registers and filings.
- Interpret, review, and manage execution of contracts.
- Support health, safety, environmental, and social compliance initiatives.
- Liaise with external advisors (legal, technical, financial, etc.) as needed.
- Maintain organized archives and scheduling systems.
2. Financial Management
- Collaborate with external service providers (accountants, auditors).
- Update financial models and cash flow tools monthly.
- Conduct financial analysis (profitability, budget vs. actual, trends).
- Support preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and group reporting.
- Manage invoicing, revenue collection, and cost control initiatives.
- Execute bank transactions and liaise with account banks.
- Prepare annual budgets for project companies.
3. Corporate Governance & Reporting
- Prepare board packs, operating reports, compliance certificates, and lender reporting.
- Draft minutes and resolutions for board meetings and general assemblies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Track and report on contractual covenants.
4. Operational Oversight
- Monitor electricity production, downtime, and performance metrics.
- Conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with O&M contractors.
- Review variation proposals and cost estimates for maintenance and spare parts.
5. Cross-functional Support
- Contribute to asset management process development across local and global teams.
- Provide support to various business units during project phases.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration (Master's preferred).
Experience:
- 3–5 years in contract management, asset management, project finance, corporate finance, or controlling.
- Experience in renewable energy and power markets is a plus.
- Familiarity with project finance and legal contract administration.
- Strong budgeting and cash flow management skills.
- Knowledge of energy market regulations.
Languages:
- Fluent in English and Romanian (written and spoken).
