Finance Business Partner

For more than 30 years, in Mega Image, success stories have been written over long periods of time. The Finance team supports Mega Image in achieving its projects by providing a stable and secure financial environment, running efficient financial processes, providing relevant information and decision support. We contribute to the success of Mega Image, while at the same time forming a community that cares for our people in the financial field, providing attractive benefits and continuously developing our skills and competencies.

This role supports the strategy and initiatives of our organization, with the responsibility of supporting the definition, implementation, and monitoring of these policies; it requires a deep understanding of efficiency initiatives, as well as skills in the area of analysis, communication, and performance monitoring.

Strategic Financial Support:

  • Financial partner (Finance Business Partner) for the business area in the portfolio, by providing adequate information for decision-making and achieving financial objectives.
  • Analyzes financial performance based on relevant indicators and identifies areas for result improvement.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Transmitting relevant information from data analysis and recommendations for optimizing current performance and financial indicators.
  • Presenting the findings of performance analyses in a clear manner, as well as financial counseling, usually by organizing recurring formal meetings.
  • Prepares and presents performance reports, summarizes and informs management about business results.
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, as well as compliance with relevant accounting standards.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Planning, managing, and developing the annual budgeting process, forecasts, and long-term business plans and communicating them to relevant stakeholders to provide direction for the business in line with the organization's objectives.
  • Partnership with the allocated area to reduce risks, by building scenarios and identifying opportunities to ensure the achievement of financial objectives.
  • Monitoring and reporting variations from the budget/forecast, proposing initiatives to reduce the gap to management.

Stakeholder Involvement:

  • Collaboration with the allocated area to optimize strategic initiatives and ensure controls, ensuring understanding and compliance with accounting standards and conducting business case analyses.
  • Supporting strategic decisions by collaborating with cross-departmental teams to collect and analyze assumptions and data for financial models.
  • Close collaboration with the Finance Business Partners teams and the Business Planning & Performance team to ensure a good understanding and perspective on business complexities.

Performance Management:

  • Developing and implementing the performance management package to track and evaluate the organization's results.
  • Identifying and measuring appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Providing recommendations for improving financial performance and achieving business objectives.

Risk Management:

  • Identifying financial risks and opportunities and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Supporting risk management initiatives and ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Financial evaluation for new projects and investments.

What skills and competencies we are looking for you to have:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance/Economics;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fields such as: financial control, financial analysis, audit, statutory and management accounting, reporting, or investment management;
  • Good knowledge in the field of financial statement management, analysis, and planning;
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Very well-developed analytical skills and critical thinking;
  • Presentation and strategic thinking skills;
  • Orientation towards results and performance;
  • IT skills (information management systems);
  • Advanced level of English – written and spoken.
